Oak Wooden Mallet
  • Oak Wooden Mallet

When we think of a woodworker, we tend to think of them using a wooden mallet. Paul made a wooden mallet for himself years ago out of a hard to find wood called osage orange. He was caught using it during a woodcarving course he was teaching and students demanded that he begin selling them. Unfortunately, osage is hard to find, so oak will have to do. In fact, an oak mallet may even be preferable to a beginner woodworker as osage orange is very heavy.
